Privacy

We collect as little as we can. This page says exactly what, and where it goes.

Our programs

No accounts, no tracking. The programs have no sign-up, no advertising and no usage tracking.
The free trial sends nothing. Starting and using the trial needs no internet connection for licensing.
Licence checks. When you activate, deactivate or check a licence, the program sends only your licence key, an activation ID and the name of the computer to our licence provider, Lemon Squeezy. It re-checks about once a week when online, and offline use is fine.
Gizmo Network Manager keeps your trusted devices and names in a small file on your own computers. There is no cloud copy of your map. Computers you join together share it directly with each other over your home network, encrypted. By default it also asks an Internet service which public address you appear as, and you can switch that off in Settings. The speed test runs only when you press its button.

This website

We count visits so we know what is useful: how many page views, how many different visitors each day, and which downloads and buttons are used. We do not store IP addresses and we do not use tracking cookies or advertising. The counts cannot be linked back to you. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs for security and running the site, under its own policy.

Buying

The Buy button on our product pages loads a small script from Lemon Squeezy so checkout can open in a pop-up. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. They collect your name, email, billing details and payment details, and we never see your card number. They pass us what we need to run your order: your name, email address, country and order and licence details. Their privacy policy is linked at checkout.

Email

If you write to contactus@classicgizmo.com, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you, and we use your address only to reply. We do not sell or give your details to anyone else, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contactus@classicgizmo.com. We will deal with it promptly, apart from records we must keep, such as proof of a sale.
